COL MINERVA A NANA, an officer nurse from the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center (AFPMC), bested around 40 other graduates of the Strategic CMO Officers Online Course Class 10-16, when she emerged as the top graduate and received other special awards for her meritorious performance in the said 3-month course. COL NANA, in her speech, expressed her gratitude to the AFPCMO School for greatly encouraging their class to continue on when some of them have almost decided to quit from the course.
Guest of honor during the closing ceremony was BGEN RESTITUTO F PADILLA, JR., the Spokesman of the AFP and the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations who referred to the Civil Relations Service, AFP as well-oiled machinery for having efficient units under its Command including the AFPCMO School. Also present during the occasion was the CRSAFP Commander, BGEN RHODERICK M PARAYNO who delivered his congratulatory and inspiring message to the graduates before he introduced the guest of honor. It was the first graduation ceremony at the AFPCMO School that BGEN PARAYNO graced after he took command of the CRSAFP.
AFPCMO School Commandant, LTC EDGARDO V TALAROC shared with the graduates the lifetime tutor-marked assignment (TMA) that he usually shares with new warrior diplomats during their graduation, that is; “answering to God, country and people” as they continue on with their professional journey.
