A groundbreaking ceremony was held at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Civil Military Operations School (AFPCMOS) grounds today in connection with the building of its multi-purpose hall.
Leading the roster honored guests during the activity is Magdalo Representative, Hon. Francisco Ashley L Acedilo, who donated the fund for the building during the 9th anniversary celebration of the AFPCMOS last year.
He is joined by the new Commander of CRSAFP, BGEN RHODERICK M PARAYNO as well as officers from different units of the AFP and members of the CRSAFP staff.
The Commandant of the AFPCMOS, LT COL EDGARDO V TALAROC JR., says that the building of new facilities is part of their institution’s approach to becoming the best CMO School in Asia. In his welcome remarks, LT COL TALAROC expressed that acquiring new facilities has been a long-time aspiration of the School. He hopes that the rise of the new building would represent the end of the monotonous cycle of violence and beckon the reign of peace that the new breed of warrior diplomats, who will use the facilities, will push.
He adds that their next step would be to build other facilities intended for personnel barracks and mess hall, which BGEN PARAYNO assures he would support. – (Anabel Lasaten)
