First Batch of Cyber Warrior Graduate at the AFPCMOS



The first batch of Cyber Warriors who took up the initial Social Media Management and Product Development Training Class 01-15 graduated on Friday, June 5, 2015, at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Civil Military Operations School (AFPCMOS). The 33 enlisted personnel who underwent the month-long training expressed their gratitude over having been given the opportunity to be trained on the emerging trends in technology.


Keynote Speaker during the event, held at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Civil Relations Service, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CRSAFP), was the Chief of Staff of the Command, COLONEL MANUEL V. SEQUITIN who congratulated the graduates for their worthy achievement. However, he reminded them that the skills they acquired from the training could pose danger to stakeholders if not practiced ethically.

The Commandant of the AFPCMO School, MAJOR EDGARDO V. TALAROC, JR. on the other hand, reiterated that the social media skills bring a kind of power for the graduates, and if they coupled it with passion, it could spell success for them in the future.

Before the graduation ceremony proper, the graduates took the oath of membership to the AFPCMOS Alumni Association Incorporated which was given by MAJOR MICHAEL T. AQUINO, one of the members of the Board of Trustees. (Anabel T. Lasaten)
