AFPCMOS welcomes a new batch of aspiring Warrior Diplomats

The AFP Civil-Military Operations School, Civil Relations Service, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFPCMOS-CRSAFP) welcomes a new batch of students of the Strategic CMO Officers Online Course. They are composed of personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Bureau of Immigration (BI), Civilian Employees from the AFP, and from other government agencies.

The Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations, MGEN DANILO CHAD D ISLETA AFP graced the opening ceremony for the course which was held on 08 February 2019 at the AFPCMO School, Bulwagang Isleta, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.  The building of his namesake was dedicated last 05 October 2018 in honor of BGEN HONESTO M ISLETA AFP, his father, an exemplar of success in the field of civil-military operations, and the 8th Commander of CRSAFP.

In his message, MGEN ISLETA AFP encouraged the students to take full advantage of the internet as they take up this course, and to keep in mind the CMO mission.  He expressed his hopes that the students will have a better perspective on the challenges faced by CMO Operators, and for them to apply what they have learned into their respective duties to achieve the peace and order for the people. MGEN ISLETA closed his remarks by wishing the future warrior diplomats success in their future endeavour.

The Strategic CMO Officers Online Course is conducted regularly by the AFP CMO School, CRSAFP which is designed to equip the current and prospective CMO planners together with other government agencies with adequate knowledge and skills that are very essential in promoting the organizations’ objectives in the strategic level.
