In order to produce more warrior diplomats the Armed Forces Forces of the Philippines Civil-Military Operations School convenes its Strategic Civil-Military Operations Officers Online Course Class 11-16 on August 09, 2016 at Headquarters, CRSAFP, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
Chief of Staff of the Civil Relations Service, AFP, COL GERARDO M ZAMUDIO JR MNSA PAF graced the opening ceremony as keynote speaker. In his message, he stressed the value of communication and appropriate messaging to specific target audience in winning the support of the general public. He also encouraged the students to adapt to the new strategic concepts of the information environment which are essential in influencing and shaping opinions. He also congratulates the AFP CMO School in maximing the opportunities of emerging technologies by aligning its training programs to the dynamic and changing CMO environment.
This time the class is composed of ninety-three (93) students coming from the different units of the AFP, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Bureau of Immigration, Bureau of Fire Protection, Senate of the Philippines, Office of the Ombudsman, Office of the Solicitor General, Commission on Elections, UN Regional Civil Affairs Office, and invited students from private organizations.
On the otherhand, LTC EDGARDO V TALAROC JR (INF) PA, the Commandant of AFP CMo School, was grateful in welcoming the students in the online course with accompanied challenged to the students to have a heart of a warrior diplomat and to give their best to successfully finish the course.
