AFPCMOS Congratulates MCAG Commander

The Armed Forces of the Philippines Civil Military Operations School (AFPCMOS) salutes one of its staunch partners – the commander of the Media and Civil Affairs Group (MCAG), MAJOR MICHAEL T. AQUINO, who is a valuable member of the school’s pool of instructors – for being bestowed with an interim Military Merit Medal, pending a recommendation for him to be awarded with “Gawad sa Kapayapaan,” for his significant accomplishments that contributed to the achievement of the Command, as well as AFP, goals.

As the head of the MCAG, MAJOR AQUINO runs the DWDD Armed Forces Katropa Radio 1134 kHz-AM. Early this year, DWDD was presented with the Peace Prize in Radio Category by the Asian Peace and Unity Corps Philippines (APUC) for their contributions to their valuable peace efforts in the country.

On the other hand, AFPCMOS Commandant, MAJOR EDGARDO V. TALAROC, JR., credited MAJOR AQUINO for actively collaborating with the School in strategic partnerships with different stakeholders, within and outside the AFP, in order to promote and disseminate information about peace, unity and prosperity in the country.
