Three of the strong partners of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Civil Military Operations (AFPCMOS) were bestowed with the Outstanding Stakeholders Award in a program held to celebrate the 64th founding anniversary of the Civil Relations Service Armed Forces of the Philippines (CRSAFP) in its Multi-Purpose Hall. The awardees are Professor Jennifer Kleskie, Miss Mereniza Gomez and Mr. Marlon C. Magtira.
Professor Kleskie is a Filipina-American trainer, facilitator and consultant specializing in conflict management, leadership and human development based in Portland, Oregon. Over the past several years, she has been a partner of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Civil-Military Operations School in the conduct of training courses on conflict management.
Miss Gomez is a member of the AFP CMO School’s pool of instructors both for classroom and online courses. She is a constant partner of the School in delivering quality education which molds a soldier-student into a Warrior Diplomat. Miss Gomez developed a standardized evaluation system that assesses the performance of the students and instructors.
Meanwhile, Mr. Magtira is a very active partner of the AFPCMOS. As a Website Developer, Mr. Magtira developed the ONLINE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (OLMS) of the School-based modular, object-oriented and dynamic learning environment. Through his initiatives, the AFP CMO SCHOOL OLMS is able to carry out a system for managing educational records over the Internet with features for online collaboration among trainers and trainees.
It is the AFPCMOS’ goal to continue to partner with individuals and groups who can work together with the school in developing the warrior diplomats who will win the peace for the country’s future. (Anabel T. Lasaten)
