AFP CMO School Officers facilitated Joint AFP-PNP CMO Training

The PNP Regional Public Safety Battalion 4A (CALABARZON) invited the AFP CMO School Mobile Training Team to facilitate a Joint AFP-PNP CMO Training to PNP Commissioned Officers (PCOs) students of the Tactical Commander’s Course at Camp De Sagun, Trece Martirez, Cavite. The CMOS provided a module on Engagement and Information Support Affairs – the said module is now included in PNP courses and valued as a very timely subject as the PNP is geared towards enhancing their ISA operations.

The AFP representatives who shared their expertise were MAJ JO-AR A HERRERA (INF) PA, MAJ MICHAEL T AQUINO (INF) PA, MAJ EDGARDO V TALAROC JR (INF) PA, with Mr. Marlon Magtira, the CMOS social media expert.

The PCO’s expressed that self-proclamation is not the key to gain the people’s trust and confidence and also saw the importance of collaboration with different stakeholders in the society. The participants admitted that they realized the impact of the different CMO activities through the shared knowledge of the CMOS Officers.

This kind of training and seminar paved the way for the AFP CMO School to build networks and gain advocates and partners in peace building.
